Writing is a useful tool for thinking, expressing, and being creative.
Writing helps us in many ways but today we are going to discuss only 3 ways, that I have experienced. I'll try to cover all those areas properly and try to deep dive into them.
So, are you ready?
If yes.
Then let's go.
1)An Amazing Stress Releaser
Writing down our emotions on paper helps us to release all the emotions and make ourselves calm. And from this, I can easily say, "writing is an amazing releaser".
Let me share my first experience with this. I was in the metro, going somewhere. And suddenly I felt that I wanted to share these emotions of mine with someone, but there was no one with me, nor I can call anyone at that time. So I took a paper and a pen and started writing down all my emotions on the paper. After writing down everything, I actually felt so relaxed.
My mind was so calm and again I was able to concentrate on that present moment. That was the first time, I have experienced the power of writing down things.
Writing down my emotions has now become one of my favourite habits, drastically changing my life.
Now whenever I feel that I am stuck with any problem, or with any emotion, or with any person then at that time, I prefer to write all those feelings which affect me mentally, on paper.
First, I feel the sense of relaxation, the very moment.
Second, when I read whatever I have written, after reading all that either I feel that I can solve that damn problem, it's not that tough or I feel that this problem is not in my control, so leave it.
How does it work?
Basically, when our mind is full of stress, at that time, we are not able to concentrate on the solution, but after writing down the problems, we actually detox our mind and after that our mind becomes free, to find the solution.
This is how it works.
2) An Amazing Manager
Why have I used the word, "manager"?
"In 2019, I got to know about the TO-DO list.
I used to study at that time and also I gave tuition classes to some students of my area, because of lots of work, some of the times I end up forgetting the most important work of mine.
I struggled a lot to remember all the work, that I need to complete each day. Then at that time, I have searched on Google that how can I manage my work properly and will able to at least complete 90% of my work. So I end up knowing about the "to-do list".
This helped me a lot to keep me remind, all the work that I need to complete. Also helped me to manage the work and kept an eye on my daily productivity scale".
This is really an effective way to complete your work and also when you put a tick mark in front of any work on your to-do list, that feeling of accomplishment is beautiful. You automatically get motivated to complete another task of that day.
That's why I have used the word "manager". A To-do list is an astonishing way to manage our work, and also this helps us to improve our productivity at the same time. Must give it a try.
3) An Amazing Healer
What do I mean to say, "healer"?
Nowadays, because of high competition or also we can say because of social media, we all have actually started feeling alone and also we have started thinking that others are living an amazing life and we are just passing our days.
But in reality, it's not true. Actually what happened is that we have started comparing ourselves to others and because of which we are constantly finding fault in ourselves and keep focusing on other people's better qualities.
This feeling leads to scarcity, leads to a sad place, where we find ourselves alone and depressed. We actually start thinking that why me, or why have I not got this or that, why I am not happy like them?
Let's try to understand that how writing can help us to deal with this problem.
To calm our mind in this case, we need to start writing down all the things we are GRATEFUL FOR.
The solution to this problem is that we have, I repeat we have to start seeing good things in our lives again, that we have actually stopped doing.
And for that, if we make a dairy and write only 3 things, we are grateful for on daily basis. Magic happens.
Try it only for a week.
After the end of one week, you will be able to see a remarkable change in your midset.
You will feel that you have many, actually many things in your life, for which you have to be grateful, but you have never focused on that.
Like, today, let me share 3 things that I am grateful for:
1) I am grateful for my parents, they always support me, always push me to try again. Always stand with me, whether I fail or I win. They are my true love.
2) I am grateful for my brother, he always pushes me to work harder, he always pushes me to extend my limits, he always pushes me to become a better version of myself.
3) I am grateful for my best friend, he might not stay with me forever, but the lessons that he has taught me will remain with me till the last breath of my life. Knowingly or unknowingly I always learn some new positive quality from him.
I am really grateful for all these people, who have made me what I am today.
CONCLUSION:
I genuinely recommend you to try all these three ways, at least for a week, to make yourself happy and productive. I can assure you that you will find a different you if you will do it honestly.
If you are serious about this, then you can check this: Notebook Journal (just click on the name).
I really find it very helpful because in this one notebook, you can write your thoughts, you can make a to-do list and also you can write 3 things you are grateful for and in addition, you can write affirmations too.
An amazing notebook (like we use in our childhood, 3-in-1 hahaha... remember?)
Life is very short to stay unhappy. Keep smiling, keep growing, keep falling but always keep standing again :)
